Martin was the founder of the band Suicidal Goldfish along side ex-drummer Michael Latimer, back in March 2001. Born in Carshalton Surrey, Martin was lured into the world of guitar via his father Alan. Started to properly play guitar in January 2001. He enjoys many types of music, every thing from Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath to Korn and Raging Speedhorn. All the riffs he makes up on the guitar are influenced by such bands as Slipknot and Raging Speedhorn. Along side him making the songs is frontman David Smith, writing all the lyrics and occasionally helping Martin working out a good riff.
